Nepal imports good worth over Rs 800 billion in seven months of current FY



KATHMANDU: Import of foreign goods has increased as the impact of the coronavirus pandemic has waned.

According to the data made public by the Department of Customs, the import of foreign goods has returned to its pre-pandemic state.

In the first seven months of the current fiscal year 2021-22, Nepal has imported goods worth more than Rs 800 billion.

According to the data released by the department for the seven months, goods worth Rs 803.64 billion have been imported.

It is 0.1 percent more when compared to the same period of the last fiscal year.

Nepal had imported goods worth Rs 803 billion in the first seven months of the last fiscal year.
