India records 14,587 new COVID-19 cases; 117 deaths



NEW DELHI: India recorded 14,587 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 10,976,776.

Currently, 144,654 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 10,675,882 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 156,200-mark.

With 117 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 156,240, according to the latest figures by Worldometers.
