Jayprithvi Highway obstructed

BAJHANG: Transportation along the Jayprithvi Highway has been disrupted with the obstruction caused by the landslide. The torrential rainfall occurred on Sunday evening flooded Narugauda stream and caused landslide.

Chief District Officer Mohan Raj Adhikari informed that although the efforts were made to reopen the Highway, the floods in Nargauda did not recede due to continuous rainfall.

The vehicles entering Bajhang and exiting it for Kathmandu, Dhangadhi, Mahendranagar, Dadeldhura, and Baitadi have been stranded along the road.
