Maoist Center’s SC meeting to continue today as well



KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Standing Committee of the CPN (Maoist Center), which started on Monday, will continue today as well.

Party Spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara said that no decision was taken on Monday even though several issues were discussed regarding the party’s upcoming convention.

The meeting was held at the central party headquarters at Paris Danda in Koteshwor.

‘Various issues were raised about the party in Monday’s Standing Committee meeting but no conclusion was reached,”  Mahara told media persons after the meeting.

The meeting also dwelt on organizational issues of the party, among others.

The Maoist Center is holding ward-level conferences across the country on October 30 and municipal conferences on November 20.

Similarly, the Maoist Center is holding a national conference of the party from December 26 to 28.
