UML Chair Oli says animosity will hamper nation-building efforts

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the CPN-UML KP Oli has emphasized nation-building rather than having animosity with anyone.

“Our vision should be to develop and build the nation,” Oli said at a program in Bhaktapur on Thursday urging the party cadres to work towards development rather than engaging on other trivial issues.

He said this a day after his party underwent a formal split with disgruntled leader Madhav Kumar Nepal registering a new party CPN-UML (Samajbadi) with the Election Commission on Wednesday.

Oli also said that Bhaktapur, despite being a small district, is rich in every aspect, particularly culture and tourism.

He urged one and all to unite to develop the district to retain its historic pride.
