UML’s Nepal faction holds discussions in Dallu



KATHMANDU: A meeting of Madhav Kumar Nepal faction of the CPN-UML is underway in Dallu, Kathmandu, Monday.

As many as 22 lawmakers of Nepal faction voted in favor of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s vote of confidence motion in the parliament Sunday.

A Central Committee (CC) meeting of the UML Monday afternoon sought 24-hour clarification from those lawmakers giving confidence vote to Deuba. Lawmakers of Nepal faction abstained from the CC meeting Monday.

The Nepal faction is involved in discussions related to clarification, party unity and future strategy.
