KATHMANDU: Leaders close to Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel are holding a meeting on the issue related to the active membership row of the party.
The meeting is taking place at the residence of General Secretary Dr Shashanka Koirala in Maharajgunj.
Aside from Poudel, leaders including General Secretary Koirala, former General Secretary Prakash Man Singh, Arjun Narasingha KC, Dr Ram Sharan Mahat and Pradeep Paudel are taking part in the meeting, an NC leader said.
NC has finalized the distribution of active memberships in 75 districts. The party had given time to sort the dispute seen in the active membership in Bara and Parsa.
The 14th General Convention of the NC has been scheduled for September 1-4.
