COVID-19: India records new 267,174 cases, 4,525 deaths



NEW DELHI: India recorded 267,174 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 25,495,144.

Currently, 3,232,165 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 21,979,703 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 283,200-mark.

With 4,525 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 283,276, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 3,417,707 and infected 164,873,268 globally until the filing of this news.
