Two persons, including staff nurse, succumb to COVID-19



NEPALGUNJ: Two persons, including a staff nurse, died of COVID-19 in Banke district on Monday.

A 20-year-old nurse from Tulsipur in Dang district died at 11:00 am today while receiving treatment at Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj, according to Hospital’s Medical Superintendent Dr Prakash Thapa. The staff nurse of Institute of Rapti Health Sciences was receiving treatment at the hospital for the past six days.

Likewise, a 75-year-old man from Kohalpur Municipality-14 died in home isolation, Resource Person of District COVID-19 Crisis Management Centre Tej Oli said.

With this, the number of COVID-19 related fatalities reached 61 in Banke district.
