20th India-Nepal DG-level talks on customs cooperation begins



KATHMANDU: Officials of Nepal and India held dialogue at Director General (DG)-level virtually Monday.

The dialogue is part of regular interaction between customs officials of the two neighbors. Today’s talks kicked off 20th discussion on customs cooperation.

The talks are aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation to facilitate cross border trade as well as to prevent and counter smuggling.

Officials from India’s Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs and Nepali officials from Department of Customs took part in the talks.
