KATHMANDU: Erstwhile staunch critic of Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli, Bishnu Rijal has attended the Central Committee (CC) meeting of the party underway in Baluwatar, Monday.

According to sources, the CC meeting called by PM Oli has been boycotted by Nepal-Khanal faction of the party.

The source claimed that Rijal had started dissenting Nepal faction’s decisions like formation of the parallel committees of the party and inching closer to CPN-Maoist Center.

Earlier Monday, Rijal had echoed PM Oli’s decision to prorogue ongoing session (winter session) of the parliament and starting budget session as the winter session lacked any substantive business.
