UML Chair Oli taunts leader Nepal for Karnali floor crossing incident

Describes floor-crossing as unforgivable crime

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairperson and Prime Minister KP Oli has flayed leader Madhav Kumar Nepal for ‘unforgivable crime’ of promoting undisciplined activities in the party.

Addressing a Central Committee (CC) meeting of the party in Kathmandu Monday, PM Oli accused Nepal of promoting dishonesty in Karnali Province Assembly (PA).

During the PA vote on Karnali Province Chief Minister Mahendra Bahadur Shahi’s vote of confidence motion, four UML leaders close to Nepal-Khanal faction had crossed the floor and supported the CM.

UML has already taken action against four lawmakers, who crossed the floor.

The Central Committee meeting is currently underway in Baluwatar.
