Cabinet recommends ending winter session of Parliament



KATHMANDU: The Cabinet has recommended to end the winter session of Federal Parliament Monday.

A meeting of the Cabinet held Monday morning decided to recommend President Bidya Devi Bhandari to end the session effective from Monday afternoon.

The decision to this effect has been made at a time when the government has been criticized for not giving business to the House.

The session had begun on March 7.

Prime Minister KP Oli had dissolved the House of Representatives on December 20.
