PM Oli has lost all moral, ethical grounds to rule: NC leader Thapa

POKHARA: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Gagan Thapa said that Prime Minister KP Oli has no right to be in the post anymore.

Speaking at an inauguration ceremony of the second convention of Nepal Livestock Health Service Technician Association (NELTA) in Pokhara on Friday, NC lawmaker Thapa claimed that PM Oli has lost all moral and ethical grounds to rule the country.

“PM Oli was in the post as the PM of erstwhile Nepal Communist Party (NCP), but after the Supreme Court’s nullification of the NCP itself, he has no moral ground to be in the post anymore,” he said, adding, “The communists have failed to keep their words and work for the people, hence NC should come ahead to lead the country now.”

NC leader Thapa said that NC should take the lead of the campaign to ensure good governance and the rule of law in the country.

“The election seems inevitable now, NC should lead the government and take the country ahead through the new mandate,” he added.

He asked all democrats to be prepared for the election.
