KATHMANDU: Vice-Chairman of ruling CPN-UML Bamdev Gautam has held Chairman and Prime Minister KP Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ responsible for the crisis in the erstwhile Nepal Communist Party (NCP).

Speaking at a program organized by All Nepal Peasants’ Federation in Dhobighat, Lalitpur, on Sunday, UML leader Gautam criticized then chairmen duo PM Oli and Prachanda for their inefficiency in taking the communist movement ahead.

“Both chairmen are responsible for the NCP rift,” Gautam said, adding “Had they executed their responsibility well the ruling NCP would not have split this way.”

UML Vice-Chair Gautam claimed that PM Oli has no idea about the party organization and the coordinating role of the leadership.

UML Chair Oli gets nil in performance appraisal and CPN- Maoist Center Chair Prachanda deserves 10 out of 100 only, he added.

Gautam claimed that his campaign will play vital role in retaining unity in the party.
