Nepal-Khanal faction’s CC members meeting at Koteshwor

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Central Committee (CC) members of Province 2 of the Nepal-Khanal faction led by Madhav Nepal and Jhana Nath Khanal are holding a meeting at Koteshwor.

The meeting to be held at 11 am at senior leader Madhav Nepal’s residence in Koteshwor will dwell on the latest political development in the country, said UML sources.

The Nepal-Khanal faction has appointed Ghanashyam Bhusal as the Province 2 in charge of the party.

It is learned that the meeting to be participated by CC members of Nepal-Khanal group will discuss party’s organizational structure of the province and the latest political scenario.

Following the Supreme Court’s verdict, erstwhile CPN-UML has been restored.

The disgruntled faction has been boycotting the party meetings especially after party Chairman and Prime Minister KP Oli unilaterally nominated 23 former CPN (Maoist Center) leaders including Ram Bahadur Thapa to the central committee of the CPN-UML.
