Kathmandu Valley sees 34 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: As many as 34 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 23 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 6 in Bhaktapur, and 5 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 97 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,73,263 in the country as of Friday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 1,583 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 114 from the coronavirus infection in the country.

So far, 2,69,619 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, three more persons succumbed to the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the total death tally to 2,061.
