Prez Bhandari dismisses Province 2 Chief Pariyar, appoints Rajesh Jha



KATHMANDU: Amid political uncertainties and escalating row between the two factions of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), President Bidya Devi Bhandari has sacked Tilak Pariyar, the Chief of Province 2.

According to the Office of the President, Pariyar has been dismissed from his post on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.

Meanwhile, Rajesh Jha of Rautahat has been appointed the chief of Province 2, as per the Article 163 (2) of the Constitution.
