Deuba hopes Democracy Day will revitalize protest against House dissolution

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that he is confident that Democracy Day will revitalize all in the agitation against the dissolution of the Parliament.

In a congratulatory message on the occasion of Democracy Day, Deuba said that the revolution of 2007 BS was the mother of all achievements so far.

He recalled that the historic people’s revolution had established democracy in the country by ending the 104-year autocratic Rana rule.

“Therefore, I express my deep respect to the martyrs and senior leaders, including Jananayaka BP Koirala, who made that historic moment possible,” Deuba said.
