India records 12,643 new COVID-19 cases; 85 deaths

NEW DELHI: India recorded 12,643 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 10,962,189.

Currently, 140,998 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 10,665,068 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 156,100-mark.

With 85 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 156,123, according to the latest figures by Worldometers.
