Nepal Police preparing to announce vacancies for temporary police



KATHMANDU: Nepal Police is making preparations to announce vacancies for temporary police following the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR).

According to a source at the Nepal Police headquarters, preparations are underway to open vacancies for around 100,000 temporary police in view of the mid-term polls announced for April 30 and May 10.

NA headquarters has already prepared a preliminary draft regarding the cost to be incurred to this effect in coordination with the Ministry of Finance and the Election Commission .

Earlier, in the federal and provincial elections held in 2017, the Nepal Police had recruited 98,268 temporary police.
