Urban Dev Minister Jhankri claims UML Chair Oli got opportunity like none to serve people but failed



KATHMANDU: Minister for Urban Development Ram Kumari Jhankri has claimed that no one got the opportunity to work for the people like former Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairperson KP Oli but said he was unsuccessful.

Speaking at a press meet organized by the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Palpa, in Tansen on Monday, she said the process of rebellion and disintegration in the CPN-UML had started when Oli tried to do things his own way.

She said Oli was the cause of the UML split. Referring to Oli, she added, “He failed to run the party and the nation properly. He was not accountable and talked nonsense.” He said Oli wasted time by talking nonsense.

At a press conference, Minister Jhankri said that the current government would work against corruption and poor governance.

She emphasized if sincere efforts were made something would happen and she would take initiative accordingly as a minister.
