18 injured in Kapilvastu road accident



BUTWAL: As many as 18 people sustained injuries after a passenger bus met with an accident in Shibaraj municipality-1 of Kapilvastu district on Saturday morning.

The accident took place when a passenger bus, Na 8 Kha 296, heading to Rukum from Kathmandu turned sideways. As many as 31 people were traveling in the bus, said police.

Five among those injured are receiving treatment at a local hospital while 13 have been taken to Lumbini Provincial Hospital, said SP Dan Bahadur Karki, the chief of Kapilvastu.
