KATHMANDU: Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has predicted partly to generally cloudy weather across the country today.
The Division has said, currently, light to moderate rains are falling in a few places in Bagmati Province and one or two places in Province 1 and Province 2.
Issuing a weather bulletin, the Division has given such information about weather forecast for the next three days this morning.
Similarly, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places of Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati, Gandaki and a few places in the rest of the provinces.
Meanwhile, the MFD has also urged all the concerned to take precaution as the water level in rivers and streams may rise alongside the risk of soil erosion and landslides in the hilly areas of these places.
Currently, the low-pressure monsoon trough is located around Uttar Pradesh in India affecting weather system in Nepal.
