Nepse increases by 97.21 points on Sunday



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has increased y 97.21 points on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2,980.61 points.

A total of 28.86 million shares of 221 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 11.63 billion.

Shares of Manjushree Finance Limited have been bought and sold at the highest price of Rs. 409,975,140 on the basis of the transaction amount.

Similarly, shares of Nabil Bank worth Rs. 386.167 million have been traded. On this day the sub-indicators of all groups are positive. Out of which, the development bank group has witnessed the highest increase of 5.05 percent.

Likewise, banking has grown by 4.71 percent. Shares of four companies saw a positive circuit break on Sunday.
