KATHMANDU: Lumbini Province Chief Minister and CPN-UML Standing Committee Member Shankar Pokharel has remarked that with Senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal’s disagreement with the report of the UML task force, three months long effort to retain the party unity has gone in vain.

A task-force member from party Chairman KP Oli faction, Pokhrel said that the hard work done by the members of the task force for three months was wasted due to leader Nepal’s disagreement.

Last week, the task force had reached a 10-point agreement. The agreement was also approved by the UML Standing Committee meeting.

“Three months of hard work were wasted after Madhav Nepal disagreed with the report of the task force,” he wrote on Facebook on Sunday afternoon.
