Cricketer Lamichhane lunches COVID-19 donation campaign

KATHMANDU: Nepali cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane has initiated a coronavirus donation campaign by providing Rs 300,000 in the fund.

Posting a twitter message, leg spinner Lamichhane said he donated the amount by announcing ‘Team Sandeep Lamichhane’ in the fight against COVID-19.

In the tweet, Lamichhane has appealed to all the people make contribution to the fund through the ‘Team Sandeep Lamichhane’.  He has mentioned his bank account through his twitter handle.

Lamichhane has launched the campaign at a time when the COVID-19 is taking a heavy toll on the human health in the country.
