COVID-19: India records new 263,045 cases, 4,340 deaths

NEW DELHI: India recorded 263,045 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 25,227,970.

Currently, 3,359,216 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 21,590,003 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 278,700-mark.

With 4,340 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 278,751, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 3,403,682 and infected 164,253,049 globally until the filing of this news.
