Maoist Center calls Standing Committee meeting on Monday

KATHMANDU: The CPN (Maoist Center) has called a Standing Committee meeting at 11 am on Monday at the party’s central office in Paris Danda, Koteshwor.

The meeting will discuss recent political developments and Maoist Center’s support to the government, among other issues, according to a Standing Committee member.

According to a Maoist party leader, tomorrow’s meeting will basically be focused on the party’s stance in whether to withdraw its support to the Prime Minister KP Oli-led government or to continue its support.

Prime Minister Oli, speaking at a program in the capital last week, challenged the Maoist Center party to withdraw its support.
