India reports new 35,838 COVID-19 cases, 171 deaths



NEW DELHI: India recorded 35,838 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 11,474,605.

Currently, 252,380 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 11,063,025 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 159,200-mark.

With 171 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 159,250, according to the latest figures by Worldometers.
