4.1-magnitude quake jolts central Nepal

KATHMANDU: A 4.1-magnitude earthquake has struck in the central region of Nepal on Thursday morning.

According to the National Seismological Center (NSC), Lainchaur, the tremor was recorded at 10:05 am with its epicenter at Sisakhani of Kavre district.

The tremors were felt in Kavre, Sindhupalchowk and the Kathmandu Valley.

No casualties and property damage caused by the quake have been reported so far.

Earlier, a 7.6-magnitude earthquake had rocked the Himalayan nation with Barpark as its epicenter on April 25, 2015.
