Prachanda-Nepal appeals to one and all for street struggle against HoR dissolution

KATHMANDU: Chairmen of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Prachanda-Nepal faction Madhav Kumar Prachanda and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ have called for a street struggle against the ‘unconstitutional’ dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) and to protect the constitution.

In a joint appeal issued on Monday, the two Chairmen called for ‘defeating the conspiracy to end democracy by dissolving HoR’ and support the campaign to restore it.

It is mentioned in the appeal that the ‘unconstitutional’ step taken by prime minister KP Oli attacked the essence and spirit of the constitution.

They claim that serious problems have arisen in the politics of the country and the organizational life of the party after the ‘unconstitutional and undemocratic’ announcement of the dissolution of the House by the President on the recommendation of the Prime Minister.

It is mentioned in the statement that the reactionary step of the Prime Minister has created a danger of pushing all the achievements of the movement towards the end.
