NC holding CWC meeting today

KATHMANDU: A Central Working Committee (CWC) of the main opposition Nepali Congress is taking place at the central party headquarters on Monday.

The CWC meeting started since December 22 after President Bidhya Bhandari dissolved the House of Representatives (HoR) on the recommendation of the Prime Minister on December 20.

The main opposition NC has been organizing various agitation programs concluding that the Prime Minister’s move to dissolve the HoR is unconstitutional and anti-democratic.

The NC leaders have also been divided over the dissolution of the HoR.

Paudel-led faction in the NC has been alleging that the protest program has been weak due to the frivolous attitude of President Sher Bahadur Deuba.
