KATHMANDU: Jeevan Pariyar of the Koirala faction has won the post of Joint General Secretary of the Nepali Congress under the Dalit category.
Pariyar defeated Man Bahadur Bishwokarma of Deuba group. Pariyar got 2,212 votes while Bishwokarma got 2,175 votes.
According to the results of the three joint general secretaries on Thursday night, the Deuba faction has won two posts of Joint General Secretaries and the Koirala faction has h won one.
As of Thursday night, the results of eight out of 13 office-bearers have come out. Now the results of five joint general secretaries and 121 central working committee members are yet to come.
