Unified Socialist issues 10-point code of conduct to its ministers



KATHMANDU: The Unified Socialist Party has issued a 10-point written instruction to its ministers participating in the government.

The inter-party directive issued by Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has prescribed a written code of conduct for the ministers.

Stating that the party has sent them to join the government to work for the welfare of the country and the people, Chairman Nepal has asked them to stay free from irregularities and corruption.

Chairman Nepal has also instructed them to complete a dispute-free tenure and to adopt a simple lifestyle.

The ministers are also asked to perform their work with honesty and integrity, and work for the interest of the nation and the people.

Likewise, the code of conduct also asks the ministers to refrain from indulging in personal interests, irregularities and corruption.

The party has also instructed the ministers to live a simple life, good conduct and culture.

It has also asked the ministers to work in coordination with the party leadership and the concerned department and to follow the instructions and advice of the party.
