NC leaders’ talks to resolve active membership dispute underway

KATHMANDU: A meeting of Nepali Congress leaders’ is underway to resolve the active membership dispute in the party.

The meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar Friday is attended by party President Sher Bahadur Deuba, senior Leader Ram Chandra Poudel and General Secretary Dr. Shashank Koirala, among others.

The active memberships of 13 districts, including eight districts of Province 2, is yet to be finalized.

Leaders will also discuss the ward convention in Dadeldhura –Deuba’s home district.
