11th CC meeting of Biplav-led NCP underway in Bandipur



POKHARA: The 11th Central Committee (CC) meeting of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav has started Bandipur.

The meeting of the party is being held at Bandipur Mountain Resort, sources have said, adding, “General Secretary of the party Biplov is attending the meeting.”

NCP local leader Niru Thapa informed that the meeting will continue till September 21. A total of 76 members of the committee are participating in the meeting.

Their security has been provided by the former People’s Liberation Army. This is the first meeting of the Central Committee after the government lifted political sanctions on the NCP.

Leader Uma Bhujel informed that the meeting will review the current political situation and prepare documents for future programs.
