Truck driver killed in Tahanun road mishap

KATHMANDU: A man has died in a truck accident at Musekhola of Byas Municipality-1 in Tanahun district on the Prithvi Highway this morning.

The deceased has been identified as a 28-year-old truck driver who name is yet to be ascertained. The truck was heading towards Damauli from Dumre fell into Buldikhola.

The name of the deceased has not been disclosed, said Yuvaraj Timilsina, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office.

Raj Kumar BK, 14, of Kawasoti in Nawalparasi was injured in the accident. He is undergoing treatment at Ratnahari Hospital in Damauli.

The truck had fallen into Buldikhola 10 meters below the road. The body of the deceased has been kept at Damauli Hospital.
