JSP Central Committee meeting underway in Dilli Bazaar



KATHMANDU: The Janata Samajbadi Party’s Central Committee meeting is underway in Dilli Bazaar, Kathmandu.

According to JSP sources, the meeting started at a party palace in Dilli Bazaar as it was not possible to accommodate all the central members in the party office.

JSP Chairman Upendra Yadav is scheduled to present a political proposal reviewing the ongoing political activities of the country on Tuesday’s meeting. Chairman Yadav’s proposal is meant to clarify the party’s position and shed light on the party’s action plans to take the party ahead.

The meeting has already decided to propose a four-month campaign for strengthening the party organization and public awareness. JSP Senior leader Ashok Rai has been appointed the coordinator of the campaign.

There are 801 members in JSP’s Central Committee.

Chairman Yadav faction have been claiming the support of more than 600 members in the party.
