UML leader Nepal to address sister organization leaders on Tuesday



KATHMANDU: Senior leader of CPN-UML Madhav Kumar Nepal is scheduled to address the party’s sister organizations on Tuesday afternoon.

According to UML sources, leader Nepal is going to address the members of the party’s various sister organizations to brief them about his review of the activities taken after toppling down KP Oli-government. He will address virtually on Tuesday afternoon.

There are speculations that on the recommendation of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, President Bidya Devi Bhandari is likely to introduce an ordinance on political parties that can pave way for the UML’s formal split.

Some hardliner lawmakers of Khanal-Nepal faction has been mounting pressure to leader Nepal to make environment to join the government at the earliest whereas some others including Bhim Rawal and Surendra Pandey have been opining that they should give retaining party unity a top priority.
