Out of 77 districts, the dispute of active membership has been resolved in 75 districts, said an NC source. The disputes of the active memberships in Bara and Saptari will be sorted out in a few days.

An officer-bearers’ meeting held in Baluwtar on Friday took a decision to orientate all the party rank and file towards holding the general convention.

Speaking at the officer-bears’ meeting yesterday Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba vehemently stated that the 14th general convention will not be postponed even for a single day.

The NC 14th general convention has been scheduled for September 1-4 in the Kathmandu Valley.
