Writ seeking priority vaccination to journos filed at SC



KATHMANDU: A writ petition has been filed in the Supreme Court demanding priority COVID-19 vaccination to journalists working on the frontline.

Journalists and advocates Lila Nath Ghimire and Bishnu Giri Nischal filed the writ petition on Thursday. The advocate and journalist duo have said they had to knock on the court’s door, as the government had not prioritized vaccination for journalists.

The writ petition is scheduled for hearing on Sunday.
