KATHMANDU: Portugal has added Nepal to a list of “red” nations amid the coronavirus pandemic in Nepal.

Portugal, however, has opened for tourists from EU countries and the United Kingdom.  People coming from these countries should, however, show a negative COVID-19 test result on arrival.

Likewise, tourists from Australia, Japan, China, South Korea, New Zealand, Israel, Rwanda, Singapore and Thailand will be able to travel to Portugal.

Nepal was earlier added to a list of countries which included coronavirus-ravaged countries such as India and Brazil, as well as South Africa.
