NEPSE increases by 20.71 points

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has increased by 20.71 points on Monday.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2759.22 points.

A total of 19.5 million shares of 218 companies were traded resulting in a turnover of Rs 9.57 billion today.

The Sensitive Index, which measures shares of large companies, also increased by 4.45 points and closed at 492.59 on Monday.

The indices of all groups except development banks, hotels, and tourism sector, and manufacturing have increased. Shares of Ruru Hydropower increased 10 percent today.

Similarly, shares of 10 companies including Samata Domestic Microfinance, Radhi Power Company, and Corporate Development Bank have increased by 9 percent.
