Lawmaker Shah donates Rs.1, 00,000 for oxygen plant in Kapilvastu



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress lawmaker Abhishek Pratap Shah has donated Rs.1, 00,000 for the installation of oxygen plant in Kapilvastu District Hospital.

Lawmaker Shah, on his social media post Monday, has announced that he would donate one hundred thousand rupees for the installation of oxygen plant in the hospital.

“I announce to donate Rs 1, 00,000 to Kapilvastu Hospital for the installation of oxygen plant there,” Shah wrote.

Shah is a NC lawmaker from Constituency 3 of Kapilvastu district.  He has been elected an MP from there for three consecutive terms since 2008.

The coronavirus pandemic is turning fatal in Kapilvastu.  The district has seen 125 COVID-19 related deaths and has got 1241 active cases as of Sunday evening.
