Nepal records 843 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 843 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 768 persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 75 have been tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 312 persons in Kathmandu, 74 in Lalitpur, and 9 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for the pandemic virus, as of Saturday afternoon.

Meanwhile, 226 persons have returned home after complete health recovery today.

Similarly, the ministry shared that five more fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 3075.
