Prachanda elected Maoist Center’s PP leader



KATHMANDU:  Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda has been appointed as the Parliamentary Party (PP) Leader of the party.

A PP meeting of the party held in Singha Durbar on Tuesday appointed Prachanda as the PP leader and leader Dev Gurung as the chief whip of the party after the Supreme Court restored CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Center, said leader Barsha Man Pun.

Similarly, Dina Nath Sharma was elected as the party leader representing the Maoist Center to the National Assembly.

The meeting has also sought Prime Minister’s KP Oli’s resignation saying that he should not continue to stay at the helm of the government on the moral ground.
