Kathmandu Valley sees 60 fresh COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: As many as 60 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 45 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, six in Bhaktapur, and nine in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 125 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,73,070 in the country as of Wednesday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that the country has currently 1,621 active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, 91 people have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

So far, 2,69,394 people recovered from the coronavirus infection.

Similarly, no additional deaths connected to COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, keeping the country’s death toll to 2,055.
