NID assistant informant found murdered in Banke



BANKE: An assistant informant working at the National Investigation Department (NID) in Banke has been murdered.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Subas Khadka at District Police Office, Banke said that Praveen Thapa, 27, was found murdered at Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City-18 Suryagaun on Friday morning.

According to Khadka, Praveen’s dead body was found in a field 2.5 km away from his house.

Thapa has a wound in his head allegedly made by a sharp weapon, police said, adding that the body has been handed over to his family after postmortem.
