Dina Upadhyaya elected NC Joint General Secretary (women)



KATHMANDU: Mahalaxmi Upadhyaya (Dina) has been elected as the Joint General Secretary of the Nepali Congress from the women’s category.

She was elected to the post defeating Kamala Panta.

Dina, representing the Sher Bahadur Deuba panel, got 2533 votes while Kamala Panta of the Shekhar Koirala panel got 2105 votes.
